Birders who stay at Caswell's on the Bay and go to Leadbetter State Park (10 miles) to see the endangered Snowy Plover, and other birds, say they see more birds here on our four acres. Among some are eagles, hawks, blue herons, shore birds, ducks, geese, Goldfinches, purple sparrows, Stellar jays, robins, woodpeckers, chickadees and many others. "Even the locals say this is the best ___breakfast on the Peninsula," ~"Smokey"
Bob's friend "Fatso", the Pine Squirrel. He has a voracious appetite. He could light our home if I could harness his jaw. Even the locals enjoy breakfast at Caswell's on the Bay!
"Thank you for a wonderful stay. We won't be able to stay in a motel ever again. Please try to do better attracting the bear - we still think its Bob in a bear suit!"

"The peace and serenity of Willapa Bay were ours for the weekend. To awaken with the Canada geese and marvel at the brown pelicans feeding just beyond our window. We stuffed ourselves with seafood from our favorite spots and walked all over Leadbetter Point - so many huckle and blue berries. We return refreshed, better for the quiet of the peninsula."

"Yesterday morning we woke and saw a small herd of elk feeding in the marsh below our window. All had racks - SPECTACULAR!! The day was beautiful - sunny and clear...not a cloud in the sky! We returned in the afternoon only to peer out our window and AGAIN see the elk traveling cross the marsh. Twice in one day - we must be living right. We woke this morning to the sun shining in our window. What a wonderful place this is. We are relaxed and refreshed. We've had a great 2nd anniversary."

"What a great experience. Everything was perfect. The breakfasts were wonderful. We particularly appreciate your arranging for the bears to come up on the front lawn on Thanksgiving morning. Mama bear and baby cub put on a great show. We will certainly be back."
